Lee gave Bobby up to Benny, hopefully ensuring that Benny would see Lee as a friend and not kill him for refusing to dive in fights. Shot and killed in 1947.

The woman that DWIGHT BLEICHERT followed from La Vern's Hideaway. Told DWIGHT BLEICHERT that she only met ELIZABETH SHORT and LINDA MARTIN a couple of times in a bar.  Murdered LELAND BLANCHARD by tracking him down in Mexico, posing as a begger to get close and axed him to death. Sentenced to an indeterminate period of treatment at Atascadero State Hospital.  

SPRAGUE, MARTHA McCONVILLE 

Sister of MADELINE SPRAGUE. "She was short, plump and blond, with a tenacious resemblance to her father.. she looked like a teenaged girl who'd never outgrown her baby fat  and mature into beauty"

Born 3.4.1896 in Aberdeen, Scotland. "5 foot 11, 185 pounds, brown hair, green eyes". Friend of EMMETT SPRAGUE. Emmett told DWIGHT BLEICHERT that he saved Tilden's life during the First World War. (Emmett confessed to DWIGHT BLEICHERT that he hid under a pile of dead Germans to avoid being noticed by a German patrol). Persuaded Emmett to emigrate to California with him make a fortune in the movie business. Emmett told DWIGHT BLEICHERT that Tilden found work as a lighting man but fell by the wayside and was disfigured in a car crash in 1936. Actually caused by EMMETT SPRAGUE when he realised that Georgie was Maddy's father. Father of MADELINE SPRAGUE via RAMONA SPRAGUE. Saw ELIZABETH SHORT when the stag movie in which she appeared with LINDA MARTIN and DUKE WELLINGTON was filmed in one of the empty houses that Tilden frequented.  As Short resembled Madeline, he blackmailed Emmett into supplying him with Short, threatening to tell about him and Madeline. Neither were seen again.

DWIGHT BLEICHERT shot him dead thinking he was the murderer of Short.
