Sister of MATT GORDON, received letter from ELIZABETH SHORT stating that she was Matt's fiancée and asked for money following his death. Val refused and reported the matter to the murder enquiry.

Republican who had promised ELLIS LOEW financial backing for his DA electioneering, hence the reason ELLIS LOEW paid BUZZ MEEKS not to divulge the Lindscott-Short connection to anyone else.

Not named but referred to as a "Jewboy Deputy DA who wets his pants for boxers" by LELAND BLANCHARD. Arranged the DWIGHT BLEICHERT-LELAND BLANCHARD fight to gain positive publicity for the election vote (Proposition B) on a five-million dollar bond proposal to boost LAPD funds. Tends to fiddle with his Phi Beta Kappa key.

'LORRAINE' 

Prostitute that DWIGHT BLEICHERT took to the hotel room at the El Nido hotel and got her to wear a wig to make her look like ELIZABETH SHORT
